My research interests focus on Second-Temple Judaism (Judaism from around 538 BCE - 70 CE), especially during the Graeco-Roman period (333 BCE - 70 CE). For information on my research and publications, look at my Curriculum Vitae (Adobe Acrobat requried).

I am also interested in developing new teaching methods. In 2005, I published Introducing the Bible: An Active Learning Approach.

Currently, I am working on developing modules for the Reacting to the Past series.
