Exercise Science A major in Exercise Science offers students a basis for intelligent decision making regarding one's own health as well as prepares students for careers or graduate study in such areas as fitness and wellness, health, athletic training, and exercise physiology. Required Courses: BIOL 111 General Biology 1 (or BIOL 107) EDUC 232 Motor Skills and Basic Movement EDPE 333 Tests and Measurements in Physical Science EDPE 308 Athletic Injuries and First Aid BIOH 240 Strength Training BIOH 340 Kinesiology and Physiology of Exercise BIO 225 Nutrition BIO 315 and 316 Anatomy and Physiology CHEM 101 Fundamentals of Chemistry (or CHEM 111 and 112) And at least two of the following:EDPE 310 Adaptive Physical Education EDPE 234 Fundamentals of Dance and Aerobics BIOH 210 Personal and Community Health BIOH 335 Personal Wellness and Fitness BIO 245 Microbiology PSY 277 Sports Psychology
