The rooftop greenhouse contains a living collection of over 30 plant species (e.g., bromeliads, orchids, cacti) in 3 separate, climate-controlled rooms that simulate a rainforest, a desert, and a Mediterranean chaparral. Some of the species (e.g., Guanacaste tree from Costa Rica) contained therein are expected to become extinct in the wild within 100 years.
