This page tracks the progress of Team Cornerstone in the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (G.I.M.P.S), a global effort to find exceptionally large prime numbers. It is primarily organized through Entropia's PrimeNet Server, which coordinates the efforts of over 67,000 PC's across the world.

The news:
It's been quite a while since the last update, but not a whole lot has
changed. We're slowly losing ground to the increasing number of big
teams, but we continue to outpace the recent trends, as we are slowly
but surely adding more power to the team we've got. What's harder to
predict is the frequency of new powerhouse teams being added; lately
there have been quite a few more than usual.
Perhaps the bigges news is that the major milestone of 1000 P-90 years
is getting closer all of the time. At our current rate, we'll hit it
in late January - less than six months from now.
