Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss various curricular issues associated with implementing a separate course in computer ethics as opposed to integrating computer ethics into existing computer science courses. In particular, the details concerning credit hours, faculty qualifications, prerequisites, and course level  for a separate computer ethics course are addressed. Further, the implementation and informal results of the separate computer ethics course are examined.
