Since the conventional wisdom is that all serious writers should have a website, I decided to attempt my version of one.
Like many writers, I am interested in the editing and teaching domains within the literary world, and I have a lot of experience in those areas. (By the way, if you're a beginning writer, I strongly encourage you to look at the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Outlook Handbook: the majority of writing-related jobs are in editing and technical writing. Even struggling artists need bread to eat.) In other words, I write far more than I have published to this point (sadly), but that trend does seem to be moving in a positive direction.
Feel free to explore the site to read samples of my work or to subscribe to my two mini-publications. (Both are free--I agree with the philosophy that making money is an insufficient reason to write, although it surely is a welcome byproduct.)
I'm also an obsessive collector and distributor of book plugs and interesting websites, so I'll share as much useful content as possible. Of course, the utility of these resources to you depends on the degree to which your interests and mine mesh, but that's normal.
