Nick Capo grew up in Pennsylvania, and he graduated twice from Penn State University, once with a B.A. in English (Writing) with a minor in history and once with an M.F.A. in English (Nonfiction). He recommends State College, PA as a fantastic place to live.
Over the years, he has worked for the Association for Retarded Citizens, for a youth service bureau in a runaway shelter and group home, as a staff and freelance writer and editor, and as a lecturer and associate director of the composition program at Penn State University Park.
Nick Capo lives in Jacksonville, Illinois, with Beth, his wife, and Clio, their dog. He teaches argumentative and creative writing at Illinois College, where he serves as an assistant professor of English.
