The Department offers five majors: Political Science, History, History and Political Science, Political Science and History, and History and Geography. Minors are offered in History, Political Science, and Geography.

To declare a major or minor in any of the areas listed above, students should obtain a "Declaration of Major" or "Declaration of Minor" form from the Registrar's Office in Tanner Hall. Students then meet with the chairman of the department. Majors are assigned an academic advisor at this time. To complete the process, a copy of the declaration form is returned to the Registrar's office.
