For fall 2015, I will be teaching IC230AP, "Bikes, A Solution for the Future" for transfer students at Illinois College. The course calendar can be read here.
My academic training and dissertation focused on Second-Temple Judaism (Judaism from around 538 BCE - 70 CE).
More recently -- driven by the courses I've been teaching -- I've developed an interest in biblical themes in popular culture, especially Satan. For information on my research and publications, look at my Curriculum Vitae (Adobe Acrobat requried).
I am also interested in developing new teaching methods. In 2005, I published Introducing the Bible: An Active Learning Approach.
Currently, I am working on developing modules for the Reacting to the Past series.
